Perform in a Mermaid Show
Have you always dreamed of performing in an underwater show? Do you long to glide gracefully inside a crystal-clear underwater tank, surrounded by bubbles, smiles, and sea magic? If so, this might be your chance to make that dream come true.
We’re currently looking for one mermaid to join our underwater mermaid show in Fremantle, Perth, on 3rd June from 12 pm to 4 pm. This is a special opportunity to shine in a real underwater tank performance — whether you’re already experienced or it’s your very first time.
This is not a paid role. The professional mermaids already hired for this event will of course be paid. But this opening is for one passionate mermaid who has always longed to perform in a tank — and who would love to be considered for future paid events through our mermaid agency.
What you need to know:
You won’t be in the water the entire time. The mermaid show is split into up to four short performances. Each performance lasts 15–20 minutes, followed by a 40-minute break out of the water. This casting call is open to all mermaids, whether you’re a seasoned performer or brand new to the scene. You must be a strong underwater performer — graceful movement, breath control, and comfort in the water are essential. You will be performing together with Mermaid Jenia, Mermaid Kinia and Mermaid Kat.
Look and costume for the Underwater Show:
Your look should be glamorous and performance-ready: long hair (your own, extensions, or a wig), underwater-proof makeup, and some accessories to complete your mermaid vibe. If you have your own silicone mermaid tail, that’s perfect and your clothing size does not matter. If you don’t have a silicone tail, we may be able to lend you one of our tails form Mermaid Kat Shop, but please note we only have sizes S and M available.
